| Step-By-Step Instructions What Is A Preset Metalcraft developed Presets to rapidly retrieve regularly used "options" so our customers won't have to fill in the same options over and over again. A Preset is a rapid retrievable group of options that give the user a "place to start". For example; do you seem to order a custom seat with the same general options over and over again? If so, this time saving feature is definitely for you! How Does A Preset Work Presets are saved detailed settings that will fill in the form completely to get you started. When you enter a quote generator page that has Presets available, you can choose either one of the Metalcraft Presets or one of your saved User Presets. These Presets will help get you close to what you currently need. After you have retrieved the Preset of your choice, you can change absolutely any of the information to meet your current needs and then submit the quote as usual. When you choose a Preset and make changes in the Quote Generator; the changes you make will not affect the saved User Presets in any way so the same Preset can be recalled over and over again. Your User Presets are yours alone, they are NOT available to any other users of the Metalcraft Quote Generator. How Do I Save My Own Presets When you enter a quote generator page that has Presets available, choose the "Manage Presets" button in the quote generator page, then choose "Add User Preset" from the menu choices on the next page, then give your new Preset a name and start making the choices you want to be saved. You must fill in everything properly (just like a quote) or the Preset cannot be saved. You can base your new Preset on one of the Presets already available, then give it a unique name and change the settings that you need changed. When you are done press the "Save This Preset" button to complete the process. The system will allow as many presets as you need; however, keep in mind you are saving a rapid retrievable "place to start" not a one of a kind setup for Jack or Jill. Most users won't want to wade through more than ten Presets per product. If you have more than ten presets for a single product; you will probably find considerable similarities between each of those Presets - see if you can condense them into just a few. How Do I Edit My Saved Presets If you find that you need to change a few settings in one of your Presets choose the "Manage Presets" from the Quote Generator page and then choose "Edit User Preset" from the Preset Menu Choices. Choose the Preset you want to edit from the drop down list, make your changes and then select "Save This Preset" button to complete the edit process. How Do I Delete One Of My Saved Presets To delete a Preset, choose the "Manage Presets" button in the quote generator page, then choose "Delete User Preset" from the menu choices on the next page, then choose the Preset from the drop down list that you want to delete, then press the "Delete The Selected Preset" button to complete the process.
